What is Lifestyle Medicine?
The Lagom Clinic believes that a GP can do more for a patient when they treat the whole person. Lifestyle medicine is a holistic approach that considers every aspect of an individual’s well-being, including diet, exercise, sleep, mental health, and relationships.
If you are interested in our lifestyle medicine services, we can provide a comprehensive consultation that evaluates every aspect of your life and recommends changes to improve your overall health and well-being. If necessary, we may also recommend relevant medications. Research shows that lifestyle medicine can significantly reduce the risk of chronic conditions like heart disease, diabetes, and obesity.
Start your journey to better health
Your lifestyle medicine journey will start with a one-on-one consultation to build a detailed picture of your current overall health. We will assess your complete medical history and undertake a full examination, including relevant blood tests. Based on the picture that emerges from this session, we will design a detailed plan tailored specifically to improve your health.

FAQs
How much does a private GP consultation cost?
A 30-minute appointment costs £125. This gives us enough time to thoroughly understand your condition to ensure you receive the best treatment. If needed, we can perform blood tests during the appointment to save you from needing another visit. We also offer membership packages that offer unlimited appointments. Lagom Clinic doctors have the opportunity to build deep and informed relationships with patients.
Will my insurance pay for a private GP?
If you already have UK health insurance, you can check with your provider to see if they cover appointments at The Lagom Clinic. Some insurance companies offer their own online GP services, and most international insurance companies will reimburse the cost of your appointment with us.
