Dr Jack Ogden

MBChB, BSc, LLM, IBLM, MRCGP

GMC: 7280728

I’m on a mission to help patients achieve their best lives by feeling healthier. As a qualified GP, a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners, and a Member of the British Association of Lifestyle Medicine, I am committed to providing holistic healthcare. I am also certified by the International Board of Lifestyle Medicine.

My journey began with a degree in Neuroscience, followed by medical training at the University of Bristol. After completing my training, I received the Arthur L. Rose Scholarship at the State University of New York. Upon returning to the UK, I worked as a doctor at the Bristol Royal Infirmary and full-time in both hospital and community-based diabetes services. Currently, I am a partner in a busy NHS GP practice and engage in private work.

Beyond clinical practice, I pursued a master’s degree in Medical Law, leading to an academic role at the Elizabeth Blackwell Institute and the Department of Medical Ethics at the University of Bristol, supported by a Wellcome Trust award.

I am as passionate about maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle in my personal life as I am with my work. My young family keeps me on my toes, and, and I regularly run, mountain bike, and road cycle. When time permits, I enjoy skiing and climbing in the mountains.

Dr Ruth Guest

MBBS DRCOG MRCGP PG Cert (Med Ed) DFRSH MSc PGDip (Gynae)

GMC: 7280728

I qualified from the University of East Anglia in 2010 and undertook GP training on the South Coast. As a GP with specialist focus on women’s health, I support patients from their first periods through to menopause and beyond. I’m particularly interested in helping women navigate complex or impactful symptoms – whether that’s difficult periods, contraception choices, or hormonal changes – with a focus on understanding what matters most to each individual.

I like to combine clinical expertise with education, aiming to help patients feel informed, confident, and in control of their health. Alongside clinical work I’m undertaking research in women’s health focussing on improving experiences and outcomes for women in real-world settings, trying to keep fit, and running around after my kids and puppy!
