Private Health Screening in Bristol
Health Screening
Stay on top of your health with screening
The future of healthcare will be proactive medicine, more focused on prevention than cure. The Lagom Clinic is bringing that future closer for patients in the Bristol area by offering access to a range of health screenings. Our screens are the most comprehensive available in the Bristol and the South West, and you spend much longer with a specialist doctor than anywhere else.
Modern screening technology can detect the early signs of a range of serious health issues, like diabetes or cancer. Screening will recognise symptoms long before you are able to detect them yourself. Early detection is the key to improved outcomes in almost every disease area. Based on your medical and family history, we can tailor recommended screenings that are most relevant for you. If needed, we can also add specialist scans or MRI screenings.

Ultra Health Screen
At The Lagom Clinic, we believe in delivering health care that goes beyond the ordinary. That’s why we’ve created the Ultra Health Screen—a comprehensive, advanced health check designed to provide unmatched insight into your well-being. Tailored for individuals seeking a thorough and personalized approach to preventive health, this package empowers you to take control and make proactive decisions for a healthier, more vibrant future.
The Ultra Health Screen begins with a two-hour consultation with an experienced GP. This in-depth session allows us to explore your medical history, lifestyle habits, and personal health goals. By understanding every aspect of your well-being, we ensure that your screening is fully customized to your needs. From this detailed starting point, we proceed with a series of advanced diagnostic tests to build a complete picture of your health.
Included in this package are extensive blood tests that evaluate key areas of your health, including organ function, hormone levels, and markers of inflammation. We also perform a detailed Electrocardiogram (ECG) to assess heart health and spirometry to measure lung function, providing reassurance about two of your body’s most critical systems. For those seeking even deeper insights, we offer optional specialist scans, such as ultrasounds or MRIs, tailored to specific concerns or risk factors.
A unique aspect of the Ultra Health Screen is the inclusion of specialist tests that go beyond standard assessments. These include Gut Microbiome Testing for digestive health, Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) over one month to track blood sugar patterns, and Nutrition and Lifestyle DNA Testing to uncover genetic risks and tailor your care further. These cutting-edge diagnostics offer profound insights, enabling early intervention and precise, informed action.
The process concludes with a 60-minute follow-up appointment, where your GP will review your results in detail and help you develop a personalized, actionable health plan. To ensure continued progress, the comprehensive blood screen will be repeated after three months, providing measurable insights into your improvement and ongoing health journey.
