TruCheck™ Early Cancer Screening
Capable of identifying up to 70 types of solid cancer tumours, TruCheck™ is the most effective and advanced diagnostic cancer blood test currently available. The ability of TruCheck™ has been validated in tests with more than 40,000 patients. The TruCheck™ blood test checks for the presence of cancer in every part of your body. If cancer is detected, the test will identify the type of cancer found and isolate the organ of origin to enable rapid and targetted treatment.
If you are interested in a comprehensive cancer screening, TruCheck™ tests can be paid for individually or included as part of your Lagom Clinic annual health screening.
If you would like to learn more about the TruCheck™ test, please book a 30-minute GP appointment with Dr. Ogden. If you decide to go ahead with the test, your appointment fee will be deducted from the cost of the test.

Can I access TruCheck™ on the NHS?
This pionerring technology is new to the UK, and not yet freely available to NHS patients.
What is the procedure for TruCheck™Cancer Screening test?
The TruCheck test by taking a small sample of blood, a simiar process to a routine blood test. The process is quick and simple. Once complete, the sample will be sent to a leading UK laboratory to detect the existence of cancers anywhere in the body.
How long will I need to wait for my results?
Your blood sample will be sent to an external UK laboratory for testing. Result are typically made avaiable after 2-3 weeks.
What happens if the presence of cancer is found?
Once we have your results, we will call you to arrange a face-to-face meeting with Dr Orgden. Should you need specialisted treatment, we will be able to refer to a spicialist to start your treatmemt.
Can a private GP refer to the NHS?
In the case of a suspected cancer diagnosis, we can refer to a NHS hospital if that is the route you want to take. We will talk you through all the available options so any decision you make is informed and supported.
Can you refer me to a private hospital or specialist?
We work closely with local consultants at Nuffield Hospital in Bristol. If you prefer another clinic or consultant, we can arrange referrals both in the UK and abroad.
