Women’s Health

A comprehensive women’s health service

The Lagom Clinic team is trained to support every area of women’s health, including the investigation and management of pelvic pain, menopause, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), and contraception. We understand that every experience is different and that some of these issues can be difficult to discuss. That’s why the Lagom Clinic prioritises discretion and sensitivity. We work hard to create an environment where patients feel able to discuss issues openly and with confidence.

We appreciate that some of these issues can weigh on the mind, so we endeavour to get answers as soon as we can. We can complete simple investigations, such as blood tests, within your appointment time. That means you will normally get your results within a few days. If needed, we can arrange for rapid access to appropriate scans or refer you directly to a recommended gynaecologist.

Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT)

Effective menopause management with HRT involves close monitoring of your symptoms and hormone levels. We will provide support throughout the journey. HRT treatment is just one of the ways we help women manage the menopause. We also provide holistic health and mental well-being care to help women navigate a change that some can find unsettling.

Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS)

PCOS is a condition that affects various aspects of health and well-being. To help women manage PCOS, we apply a holistic approach, primarily focusing on lifestyle changes. We can also introduce you to medications that can be beneficial in treating PCOS.

Cervical Smear Tests

The Lagom Clinic offers a full cervical smear service. Regular smears are the best way to detect the early signs of cervical cancer. By getting ahead of any potential danger, we can improve the chances of a positive outcome.
